|A lawsuit questioning the legitimacy of NFL iconCharlie Sanders' wedding daysbefore he died has ended with some clarity for his widow: She's getting a chunk of his $1.1 million pensionand modest monthly payments for the rest of her life.
Under a consent agreement approved by a federal judge, GeorgiannaSanders, who remarried the Detroit Lions starsix days before he died black friday cheap jerseys in 2015, will shareSanders' pension with their eight children and a trust heset up in 2008. As for the couples' finalnuptials, he said: "There's no question in my mind I believe they were legitimately married. . Ithink Charlie was the glue that kept the family together. "There is a significant question as to whether the marriage is valid," the e mail stated. In the end, that policy was split among the children after trust expenses were paid.
Court records show Sanders set up the Charles Sanders Revocable Trust in 2008anddesignated the trust as the sole beneficiary of his pension plan.
